Givenchy Bloggers Event

I was invited to attend a fantastic event last friday that had me giddy with excitement all week. I never had much of an opportunity to  attend very many  bloggers events, so to be invited to one of this calibre is, well, just darn freakin fantastic. The lovely Vivianna of the LVMH group asked me to join them at the Givenchy Bloggers Event at the downtown Bloor St. Sephora in Toronto where they would be featuring the latest F/W beauty and fragrance collection.  Can we just pause and take that sentence in a little... Yes, folks LVMH! Ah the excitment!! I will be showing you guys the products in the coming weeks but first I'd though I'd give you a little snapshot of my experience that morning (yes morning).

The event was held at 8:30 in the morning (yuck) which meant waking up at some ungodly hour to catch a bus. To my surprise, awaiting at the entrance of the Sephora was a delectable assortment of treats for us sleep deprived bloggers. Boy was I happy that there was breakfast and, most importantly coffee. I may or may not have snuck a few of those parfaits in my bag when no one was looking... Also, I think I was the only one who ate those cupcakes.

The lovely makeup artist and model demonstrated some of products for us, which was excellent. The model was gorgeous and high five for her for staying all chippy so early in the morning; if that was me I would have fallen asleep and possibly fallen off the chair.

Just look at her smiling guys....just fantastic. The makeup artist was terrific with explaining the products to us.

These are the lovely folks at LVMH, including the General Manager, David Titheridge, who I had the lovely opportunity to chat with a little bit! Believe it or not, he used to be a teacher before he entered the fast paced beauty industry.

Again, isn't she stunning? Sigh..her brows

We had a chance to take sniff at the new Fan di Fendi cologne for men. Oh man...that smelled so good. I think all us ladies got a little excited by the scent.

The new Dahlia Noir by Givenchy which is another fantastic scent, both the eau de toilette and the parfum. I especially adored the lighter scent.

And here are the cosmetic products they featured in the event, which I will be reviewing soon for you guys. One thing to mention, the new 4-in-1 mascara looks tantalizing and might meet that huge mascara void thats been empty for so, so long now.

These are two of the many fantastic beauty bloggers I met at the event! The one on the left is Christine, who happens to go to the same Uni as I do! And the other lovely lady is Stephanie! I will link there blogs below as well as some other lovely ladies I met that morning!
