Josie Maran Argan Oil for Oily Skin

Now, I am not exactly sure what the natural properties of Argan oil really consist of but I am aware that what ever its doing is making people all over crazy about it. Argan oil has been the highlight of many new skin care and hair care regimes for the past two years or so, and many companies, like Josie Maran, hoped onto the boat with the craze. I never really tried Argan oil until recently, and I can tell you that I have never been happier.

I know that are cheaper alternatives to Josie Maran brand out there, but I took a risk and purchased this expensive product at Sephora one day after hearing all the rave reviews. I was looking for a natural moisturizer for my oily, acne prone skin and was surprised my how many people with my condition raved about it.

Aparently, the product is hundred percent organic, free from parabens or any sort of chemical product - it is completely natural. The oil, thus, absorbs better into the skin hydrating and soothing it. When I applied this on my face, I was a bit weary about the oily texture. I just figured that oil on oily skin do not mix. But when I woke up the next day, my skin was completely smooth and soft and not greasy at all. After a few more days, my existing breakouts slowly started to fade!

I continued using this and still am now for a little over a month and my skin has been incredible! Giving that it has incredible hydrating abilities, this product would also be suitable for dry skin, even those prone to eczema. My boyfriend's mum suffers from this and swears by Argan oil.

Note that when you initially apply this on your face it will look oily, for obvious reasons. However, as it sits on top it begins to sink in leaving a very subtle sheen on the face. (Give this a while) I'd imagine the other brands would work just as well, so I intend to try those ones out now that I, too, am on the argan oil band wagon and I recommend you guys give this a try. In addition, I also use this in my hair and cuticles here and there, and it has preformed good as well.

Hope you guys enjoyed this short and quick review! If you have any more questions, please let me know!
