Chanel Rouge Allure Laque Swatches

I adore Chanel products but rarely indulge in the brand because of the hefty price tag. Some times products on the higher range don't live up to there price tag but something about Chanel makes everything worth the cash. Rouge Allure Laques are among those type of products.

Everything about this product exudes sophistication, quality and class. The glossy black packaging with the gold embossed Chanel logo on the bottom looks so luxurious in your hands and in your purse. I picked up three of these colours, two more recently, because I heard they were going to be discontinued. Not sure how much of this is true, as they are still available but I am glad I did.

The very first shade I purchased was Coromandel, which is a really bright orange based red. Shimmers are very subtle and are evident in all three shades. I chose this one over Dragon at the time because I thought the orange based hue would compliment my skin. But everybody just had to keep raving about Dragon that I eventually picked it up too. Dragon is so beautiful, and it is the only lipstick that makes me feel truly pretty.

The last shade, Santal, was more of an impulse by. I loved the formulation and the wear of the last two shades and decided to get a more wearable hue so I can enjoy using Chanel more often. This pink is more on the nuetral side and again has pretty gold micro-shimmers. It wears comfortably on my lips and is still opaque but not as much as the red sisters. I wear this a lot but still in moderation to savour it.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I definitely want to try a few of the other shades. Hopefully they are still in stock!
