Bronzer Overview & Swatches

Happy New Year guys! Talk about long over due. I know I have disappeared for a while but a new semester began and school was a lot more hectic than it was last semester. I did, however, decid to talk about bronzing powders today because I felt it was almost necessary to do so since the dreary coldness of winter tends to make your skin both dry and pale-which is why the topic of bronzers come up.

I have five bronzing powders (which is completely unnecessary, yes I know) and I am quite content with my little collection, although the Tarte Bronzers are seriously calling my name. Some may think five is a little too much, especially for someone who is very, very...well, tanned. I love how more dimensional my face looks with bronzer on because it makes me look more alive.

01. MAC SOLAR RICHE 02. NARS IRRESISTIBLEMENT 03. NARS CASINO 04. MAC COMFORT MSF 05. BOURJOIS BRONZING POWDER 51
Now, I understand by looking at the picture above, that the swatches seem to blend into my skin tone, which is true, because it does. But some of these bronzers definitely show up on my face enough for there to be a subtle difference in how my skin looks. None of these shades are identical.

IN CASE YOU COULDN'T SEE ALL THE SWATCHES
MAC Solar Riche is a lot more orange, Nars Irresistiblement is almost peachy (one of the faces), and Casino is very brown and cool toned. Mac's Comfort MSF is also a favourite because it leans toward the golden yellow tone and has a definite shimmer to it, which makes it just so purdy. Lastly, Bourjois is less noticeable (way, out there in the end) is almost my skin tone and I do have to pack the product on. I'd imagine this shade being completely useless in the summer months when I become very brown.

I have a very appealing giveaway coming up to thank all my lovely followers that allow a good ninety percent of you (math may be incorrect, but it is a good majority of you) to receive a prize. Hopefully that will distract your anger away for me for being away for so long.

Have a great rest of the week!
