Deborah Lippman Nail Polish Haul & Review

I was on my way to work went I stumbled across a Murale store that carried a lot of high end cosmetic products. I had never been in one before but I had heard a lot of great things about the store and how it was an extension of Shoppers Drug Mart, a drugstore here in Canada. Walking in between the isles, I noticed that they carried Deborah Lippman nail polishes! I had heard so many great things about the company that I decided to pick up the most eye catching colours that were unique to me and my collection. This is what I picked up!

01. GLITTER IN THE AIR 02. BAD ROMANCE 03. ACROSS THE UNIVERSE 04. SUPERSTAR
Superstar has a deep brown base with coppery rose goldish glitters. The glitters itself are chunky but smaller in comparison to the other polishes shown here. This product applies thick and opaque and at around two coats is all you would need to reach full opacity.

Bad Romance has a black base with blue-based hot pink glitters in it. It has combination of both smaller glitters you would find in Superstar but also larger hexagonal glitters that are really nice to look at. Like Superstar, it also applies quite opaquely with two thick coats.

Across the Universe has a blackish blue base with green, teal and blue hexagonal and smaller glitters in it. Again, the colour is quick opaque with two thick coats. This one is probably my favourite out of the bunch!!

Glitter in the Air is a sheer baby blue with sky blue and pink hexagonal glitters intermixed with tiny silver and pink hexagonal glitters. I was really hoping the base shade would be more true to colour but it is quite sheer. I think this is a nice colour but a little disappointing in terms of opacity.

ESSIE MINT CANDY APPLE W/ DEBORAH LIPPMAN GLITTER IN THE AIR LAYERED OVER
I really like Glitter in the Air to be layered over other nail polishes though! Essie's Mint Candy Apple is one of my favourite spring shades to wear, and here layered over the glitter is just so cute!! Perfect for easter!!

DEBORAH LIPPMAN BAD ROMANCE
I took this picture in the night but I hope you can see the gorgeous glitters in this one! It is my second favourite out of the bunch!!

I hope you guys enjoyed this mini review! I will definitely be picking up more polishes, which is not a good thing since the price tag for this was $24 dollars Canadian!!!
